Laurène Chanson

Has been working in the music industry for more than 12 years, starting her career in New York, at the Grammy-nominated German label, ECM Records. After 3 years as an International Project Manager for Random Records in Buenos Aires and 5 years as a Booking Agent at WAM in Barcelona, she set up her own agency, Whisper Not, in 2015.

Right now her roster includes artists such as Sons of Kemet, Chassol, ALA.NI, Petit Biscuit, Juliette Armanet, Flavien Berger, Zombie Zombie, Acid Arab, Deena Abdelwahed….

With a modern take on a variety of traditional styles, her standout ventures include collaborations with flamenco crossover artists such as Rosalía and Niño de Elche, the post-modern braindance of El Guincho and the future bass of Alizzz. In addition, she leads the management of the Afro-Caribbean group ÌFÉ and Barcelona based artist MANS O.

Laurène is a board member of SheSaidSo Barcelona, local branch of SheSaidSo.
