To close things off for Women’s History Month, shesaid.so tv heads out to Mexico City for a 2h episode that focuses on electronic music and how it’s shaped by the cities that it comes from. Thanks to its affordability and rich culture spanning across architecture, food, music and beyond, CDMX has become an international hub for young artists and creatives that in turn led to an explosion of cross-cultural exchange in the city. This episode will feature a mix of local talent and special international guests.
Featuring a conversation between fashion designer Bibiana P. Colmenares and music producer Concepcion Huerta, two local creatives who are on the rise on how the city has shaped them as artists. Followed by an interview with UNIIQU3, Producer, DJ, Rapper & Singer who is putting the Jersey Club movement on the map - hosted by shesaid.so founder Andreea Magdalina. Wrapping up with a DJ set by Colombia-born / CDMX-based Rosa Pistola, whose sound is best described as experimental reggaeton.
