About NOT BAD FOR A GIRL

NOT BAD FOR A GIRL is an organisation working to combat gender discrimination in the dance music industry. We achieve this by hosting live music events, networking opportunities and workshops focussed on female, non-binary and trans DJs. Alongside this, we look after a growing roster of seven resident DJs who play regularly at clubs and festivals across the UK and beyond.

In 2024 we launched EQUAL PARTS, a record label platforming female and gender diverse artists.
