Maiju Talvisto is an accomplished live music professional known for her diverse expertise in artist administration, production and hospitality. She has over 15-year long journey in the festival scene and in her most recent role as Head of Artist Relations at Flow Festival in Helsinki, Finland, she successfully elevated artist advancing processes and lead the team that orchestrated performances by iconic artists like Alicia Keys, Frank Ocean, Janelle Monáe and Lorde. Her leadership philosophy revolves around kindness, security, and teamwork.

She is a strong advocate for a socially sustainable music industry, and she has been working towards safer working conditions for women and other minorities at the backstage. She is a sough-after expert advisor and board member in industry organizations. Her recent endeavour was co-developing the 3F Diversity & Inclusion Toolset for festivals and live events with Yourope – The European Festival Organization and Pan-European experts. Her debut non-fiction book, "Backstage - Artist Producer's Handbook" (published in 2022), has garnered glowing reviews and become a sought-after resource in the industry. 

Maiju was honored as the "Professional of the Year in Arts" by The Art and Culture Professionals’ Trade Union TAKU in 2019 and named Production Manager of the Year by Women in Live Music in 2019 and by Music x Media in 2022.
