Francesca Barone is Licensing Manager at Universal Music Publishing Italy with 12+ year of experience in the music business. Here she manages publishing and master rights for all kinds of branded synchronization projects. Before joining Universal, she worked for two other relevant major music labels: Emi Music Publishing and Sony ATV. There she was also Synch Manager for Extreme Music (production music catalogue) and A&R, working closely with authors, writers and musicians and managing the production and the art direction of original music compositions.

She carries out several personal projects: providing marketing and management consultancy, lecturing at Italian Universities and music schools and being active in feminist organizations (STEAMiamoci by Assolombarda).

Under the name of Franca Barone, she released two albums as singer-songrwriter.
