Shesaid.so Italy was created in August 2018 in response to the pervasive sexism in the Italian music industry. We are a group of almost a thousand music professionals coming from all parts of Italy and working in various fields, from labels to booking, from concerts production to journalism. The group currently holds regular meetings, panels and workshops in Milan, Rome, Turin, Bologna, Bari and Florence. The chapter also shares jobs for women in the industry in its Facebook Group, and shares interesting articles on its Facebook Page.
shesaid.so Italy is a platform for mutual exchange of opinions, creativity, knowledge and advice; the members support one another and work towards establishing gender balance, equality and diversity in the Italian music business.
